The deal journey

Six stages between wanting a deal and having one

Most tools are built for one or two of these and hand the rest to somebody else. That is a reasonable way to build a product — it is just worth knowing which stages you will still have to cover yourself.

  1. DiscoverFind businesses, on the market and off it.
  2. PrepareGet the business ready, and the numbers straight.
  3. MarketReach the right buyers, not every buyer.
  4. EvaluateJudge the fit, and price it.
  5. DiligenceShare documents safely, and answer questions.
  6. CloseWork the deal through to signature.

Three categories

Three categories. Three different jobs.

The right choice depends on whether you need exposure, human representation, prospecting data, or one system that carries the whole transaction.

At a glance

How far each kind of tool takes you

Every one of these is good at what it is for. The difference is how much of the transaction you still have to carry somewhere else.

The part nobody else does

Ready before it is advertised

Most alternatives are built for one or two stages of a sale and hand the rest back to you. This is the part almost none of them do: getting the business, the numbers and the documents ready before a buyer ever sees it.

  • An exit-readiness plan that says what is missing, before a buyer finds it.
  • A Listing Builder and a Document Builder working from your own figures.
  • The valuation, the write-up and the data room in the same workspace.

What is different

What makes SellAnyBiz different

Not every tool in one. One system for the work that is specific to buying and selling a private business.

Nine coordinated agents

Alisha, our AI copilot, works with eight specialist agents across listings, company origination, buyer matching, documents, the data room, outreach and the deal room.

Three purpose-built workspaces

One for owners and buyers, one for advisors and brokers, and one for investment teams — each with the tools that role actually uses.

On-market and off-market

Browse what is openly for sale, and research companies that are not — with the people who decide, and approved outreach to reach them.

Preparation built in

An exit-readiness plan, a Listing Builder and a Document Builder, so a business is ready before it is advertised rather than after.

Diligence you control

The Data Room Agent runs a permission-controlled room with document requests, a question thread and an audit history — you decide who sees which file, and can prove it later.

The deal itself, tracked

The Deal Room Agent tracks stages, tasks, risks, offers and closing actions, so the state of a deal is something you can see rather than something you have to ask about.

Questions

Questions people ask

What kind of product is SellAnyBiz?
A marketplace advertises businesses. A broker represents you through a transaction. A prospecting tool finds companies and contacts for a sales team. SellAnyBiz is built for the transaction itself, so discovery, preparation, marketing, evaluation, diligence and closing happen in one workspace rather than in four tools and an inbox.
Can I use SellAnyBiz alongside the alternatives?
Often, yes, and we say so on each page. Many sellers advertise on a marketplace for reach and run everything else here. Many owners keep their broker for judgement and negotiation. We only claim an integration with another product where a live one exists.
Does SellAnyBiz replace professional advice?
No. SellAnyBiz supports people working on their own and advisor-led workspaces, and our own team can help. Legal, tax, regulatory and investment decisions should still be reviewed by qualified professionals.
How do you decide what to say about other companies?
Every claim about another company is read from that company's own public pages, and each page shows the date it was checked and a link to the source. If something cannot be reconfirmed at the next review, it comes off the page rather than being softened. We do not publish estimated competitor fees, because brokerage fees vary by office, mandate and geography.
Which markets does SellAnyBiz cover?
We support the UAE, the UK, the USA and Italy, for both online and offline businesses. Some of the alternatives we compare are stronger in one of those markets than we are, and the comparison pages say which.

Start with the outcome, not another disconnected tool.

Tell Alisha whether you want to buy, sell, originate or manage a transaction, and SellAnyBiz organises the workflow around it.

  1. Discover
  2. Prepare
  3. Market
  4. Evaluate
  5. Diligence
  6. Close
  7. Deal done
