Overview

SellAnyBiz does research for you. To find buyers, sellers and businesses that fit what you are looking for, we look up information about you, about your company, and about the companies and people you may want to deal with. Some of that information comes from you. A lot of it we find ourselves.

We tell you before we start, because this research goes further than the details you type into the app. This page explains what we look for, where we get it, and how to stop it.

1. What we look for

When you create a workspace, we may research and store the following:

Your company: Its legal name, registration details, address, size, industry, website and public financial information.
Business contact details: Work email addresses and phone numbers for you and for people at companies you are matched with.
Professional profiles: Public professional pages, job titles and work history.
Companies that may fit you: Businesses that match what you are buying or selling, and the people who make decisions there.
What you do in the app: Which listings you open, what you search for, and what you save — so the matches get better over time.

2. Where we get it

We use a mix of sources. We do not buy or read your private messages, and we never ask for your password to another service.

You: Everything you type into onboarding, your profile, your listings and your workspace settings.
Public company registries: Official government and registry records about registered businesses.
Business data providers: Paid third-party services that hold company and work-contact databases, and a service that checks whether a work email address is deliverable.
The public web: Company websites, public professional profiles such as LinkedIn, news and search results.

These sources are business information. We are not looking for anything about your private life.

3. Why we do it

We use what we find for these purposes only:

Match you: Put your listing in front of the right buyers, or find businesses that fit what you want to buy.
Save you typing: Fill in company details for you instead of asking you to enter them by hand.
Let you reach people: Give you a way to contact the decision maker at a company you are interested in.
Check things are real: Confirm a company exists and that the details given about it are accurate.

4. Your choices

Ticking the box confirms you have read this page. Stopping the research is still your choice.

You can change your mind: Contact us and we will stop the research and remove what we found.
You can ask what we hold: Ask us for a copy of the information we have about you or your company, and ask us to correct it.
