Profitable Grooming-Only Pet Salon in Abu Dhabi

Predominantly expat customer base with strong loyalty and high repeat rates. The salon sits in a busy residential, expat-dense neighbourhood that delivers strong walk-in visibility alongside its booked clientele. Demand is steady year-round, supported by a growing regional pet-ownership trend and limited grooming-only competition in the immediate catchment. Average ticket sits between AED 100 and AED 350, with packages lifting per-customer value.

Semi-absentee, turnkey operation that runs independently with only light owner oversight. The team is five strong: four experienced groomers plus one operations/reception lead who handles bookings, customer communication, and marketing. All staff are on valid work visas. Monthly payroll is approximately AED 19,000. The facility uses a practical, high-throughput layout optimised for grooming volume, with low inventory requirements. Operating since 2021 and fully licensed and registered. Total monthly operating expenses (rent, utilities, salaries) run approximately AED 21,000–22,000.

Several clear levers for a new owner: (1) add a mobile / at-home grooming unit to capture demand beyond the storefront; (2) introduce membership or subscription grooming plans to lock in recurring revenue; (3) extend opening hours or add grooming stations to lift daily capacity above the current ~15 pets/day; (4) layer in complementary retail (pet accessories, grooming products) or food sales, currently untapped; (5) scale the existing social and marketing presence to convert more walk-in and online demand.
