Overview
SellAnyBiz is a marketplace for buying and selling businesses. When you schedule a meeting with a buyer, seller or broker, SellAnyBiz can create that meeting in your own Zoom account and show the join link to both sides.
Connecting Zoom is optional. Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and in-person meetings stay available whether or not Zoom is connected.
1. Adding the app
You add Zoom from inside SellAnyBiz. You need a Zoom account and a SellAnyBiz account.
- a. Sign in to SellAnyBiz and open Settings, then Integrations.
- b. Find the Zoom card and select Connect.
- c. A Zoom window opens. Sign in to Zoom if you are not signed in already.
- d. Read the permissions Zoom lists and select Allow.
- e. The window closes and the Zoom card shows the email address of the connected account.
If nothing opens, allow pop-up windows for sellanybiz.com and try again.
2. Using the app
Once Zoom is connected it becomes one of the meeting services you can choose when you schedule a meeting.
- Schedule a meeting In Meetings or Calendar select New meeting, choose Zoom as the meeting service, set the title, date, time and duration, then save. The join link appears on the meeting and is shared with the other side.
- Change a meeting Editing the title or the time in SellAnyBiz updates the same meeting in your Zoom account.
- Join a meeting Open the meeting in SellAnyBiz and use the join link. You are the host, because the meeting lives in your own Zoom account.
- End a meeting End meeting on a running meeting ends the Zoom call for everyone in it.
- Cancel a meeting Cancelling a scheduled meeting in SellAnyBiz also deletes it from your Zoom account, so it does not stay on your calendar.
3. Removing the app
You can remove the integration whenever you want. Nothing else in your SellAnyBiz account changes.
- a. Open Settings, then Integrations, in SellAnyBiz.
- b. Find the Zoom card and select Disconnect.
- c. To remove the app from Zoom as well, open the Zoom App Marketplace, go to Manage, then Added Apps, find SellAnyBiz and select Remove.
Disconnecting deletes the access and refresh tokens we hold for your Zoom account. Meetings that were already created stay in your Zoom account and remain yours to manage.
4. What the integration accesses
Every request we send to Zoom is limited to meetings SellAnyBiz created. We never read or change any other meeting in your account.
- What we create A Zoom meeting when you schedule one in SellAnyBiz. We send only the title, start time, duration and time zone you entered.
- What we read Your Zoom user ID and email address, once, at the moment you connect, so you can see which account is linked.
- What we store The access and refresh tokens, encrypted with AES-256-GCM; the connected account's user ID and email address; the permissions granted; the token expiry; and each meeting's ID and join link.
- What we never touch Recordings, audio, video, screen share, in-meeting chat and transcripts. We do not ask Zoom for these permissions at all.
Our Privacy Policy explains how this data is stored, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
5. Getting help
If the connection does not work, or a meeting does not appear in Zoom, contact us through https://sellanybiz.com/contact-us and tell us the date and title of the meeting.
