What it does

Once Google Calendar is connected, SellAnyBiz keeps your calendar in step with your meetings.

  • Scheduled meetingsA meeting you schedule, or are invited to, is added to your Google Calendar. If its time, title or place changes, the event changes with it.
  • Cancelled meetingsWhen a meeting is cancelled, its event is removed from your calendar. The same happens if you are taken out of the meeting.
  • Finished meetingsOnce a meeting has started or ended, its event stays on your calendar as a record.
  • Booking pageIf you use a booking page, SellAnyBiz checks when you are busy, so a guest can only pick a time you are free. A call a guest books is added to your calendar with the guest invited.

Whose connection is it?

The connection is yours. It is saved for you, in the workspace where you connected it.

  • Your teammates do not share it. Each person connects their own Google Calendar.
  • Any member of a workspace can connect. There is no step for an owner or an admin.
  • If you belong to more than one workspace, each one has its own Google Calendar card. A meeting in a workspace where you have not connected still reaches your calendar, through the connection you made in another workspace. A booking page uses only the connection made in its own workspace.

How to connect

Last reviewed: October 5, 2026

Open Settings → Integrations
  1. Sign in to SellAnyBiz and open Settings, then Integrations.
  2. Find the Google Calendar card and select Connect.
  3. A Google window opens. Choose the Google account you want to use.
  4. Read what SellAnyBiz is asking for, then approve it.
  5. The window closes. The card now says Connected and shows the email address of the account you chose.

If no window opens, your browser blocked it. Allow pop-ups for sellanybiz.com and select Connect again.

What SellAnyBiz asks Google for

SellAnyBiz asks Google for three things.

  • See and edit events on your calendars. This is how SellAnyBiz adds, changes and removes the events for your meetings.

Sent to the provider as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events

  • See when you are busy. Google tells us the busy times only — not the title, the guests or anything else about an event.

Sent to the provider as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.freebusy

  • See your email address, so the card can show which Google account is connected.

Sent to the provider as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email

The first permission is wider than what SellAnyBiz does with it. SellAnyBiz creates, changes and removes only the events for your own meetings. It does not read your other events.

How we handle Google data: our Privacy Policy

Good to know

  • Events go to your main Google calendar.
  • If you connect after a meeting was scheduled, that meeting reaches your calendar the next time it changes.
  • If you delete one of these events from your calendar yourself, SellAnyBiz does not put it back.
  • A meeting that starts straight away, with no planned time, is not added to your calendar.
  • For a scheduled meeting, each person gets their own event on their own calendar, and Google sends no invitation emails. A call booked through your booking page is different: it is one event on your calendar, and Google invites the guest.
  • A guest invited by email alone, with no SellAnyBiz account, gets the meeting by email and not through this integration.

How to disconnect

  1. Open Settings, then Integrations.
  2. Find the Google Calendar card and select Disconnect.
  • Our accessSellAnyBiz deletes the access it holds for your calendar straight away.
  • Existing eventsEvents already on your calendar stay there. SellAnyBiz can no longer change or remove them.
  • New meetingsMeetings stop reaching your calendar, unless Google Calendar is still connected in another of your workspaces.
  • On Google's sideDisconnecting here does not remove SellAnyBiz from your Google Account. To do that as well, open myaccount.google.com/connections, find SellAnyBiz and remove its access. That also disconnects Google Meet and Google Drive, in every workspace, because the three share one sign-in with Google.

If something goes wrong

  • No Google window opensYour browser blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for sellanybiz.com, then select Connect again.
  • The card says ExpiredGoogle no longer accepts the saved sign-in. Select Reconnect on the card and approve again.
  • A meeting is missing from your calendarCheck that the card says Connected. A meeting scheduled before you connected appears the next time it changes.
