Integration
Microsoft 365 Calendar
Keep your booking page clear of the times you are busy in Outlook, and put booked calls on your Outlook calendar.
This integration is not switched on yet
You cannot connect it yet. This page describes how it will work, so you know what to expect.
- Belongs to
- You, in one workspace
- Who can connect
- Any workspace member
- You need
- A work or school Microsoft account
- Connect from
- Settings → Integrations → Your integrations
What it does
Microsoft 365 Calendar works with your booking page.
- Busy timesSellAnyBiz checks when you are busy in your Outlook calendar, so a guest can only pick a time you are free.
- Booked callsA call a guest books is added to your Outlook calendar with the guest invited. If the call is moved or cancelled, the event follows.
It does not copy your other SellAnyBiz meetings to Outlook. Only calls booked through your booking page are added.
Whose connection is it?
The connection is yours. It is saved for you, in the workspace where you connected it.
- Your teammates do not share this authorization. Each person connects their own calendar.
- Any member of a workspace can connect. There is no step for an owner or an admin.
- A booking page uses only the connection made in its own workspace.
What SellAnyBiz asks Microsoft for
SellAnyBiz asks Microsoft for three things.
Read and write your own calendar. SellAnyBiz uses it to see when you are busy, and to add, change and delete the events for booked calls.
Sent to the provider as
Calendars.ReadWriteKeep the connection working, so you are not asked to sign in again every hour.
Sent to the provider as
offline_accessSee your basic profile and mailbox address. The address is also what SellAnyBiz gives Microsoft when it asks about your busy times.
Sent to the provider as
User.Read
The first permission covers your whole calendar, which is wider than what SellAnyBiz does with it. From your existing events SellAnyBiz uses only the times you are busy, and it writes only the events for booked calls. It never reaches anyone else's calendar.
Good to know
- A personal Microsoft account cannot be used. Microsoft answers the busy-time question only for work and school accounts.
- A booking page reads one calendar. Google Calendar is the other choice.
- Microsoft sends the guest Outlook's own invitation, and its own notice when a booked call is cancelled.
Individual and team use
The signed-in person’s calendar is used. This is not a Microsoft 365 group calendar or a shared-mailbox calendar connection.
Capabilities and limits
Reads Outlook busy periods and creates, updates, or cancels booked-call events through Microsoft Graph.
- A work or school account is required; personal Microsoft accounts are not supported by the availability API used here.
- No Calendars.ReadWrite.Shared or application-level tenant installation is requested.
Connecting, renewal, and removal
When enabled in this environment, connect from Settings → Integrations → Your integrations. Team-content integrations also appear under Workspace, but still use your own authorization. An expired or revoked grant needs Reconnect. Disconnect removes your SellAnyBiz connection; it does not transfer or delete copies already imported into a room or listing. Google/Microsoft provider consent may remain because sibling integrations share a client.
