What it does

Zoho Books works with the Financials step of the listing editor.

  • ImportSelect Import from Zoho Books, and SellAnyBiz reads your Profit and Loss for the last three completed financial years.
  • ReviewYou see the imported figures beside the ones already on the listing, and tick the years you want. Nothing on the listing changes until you do.
  • A mark for buyersEach year you bring in carries a small mark buyers can see: From the seller's Zoho Books, with the date. It names no company. A figure you later edit by hand loses its mark.
  • Kept up to dateAbout once a month SellAnyBiz reads the books again. It never changes a figure by itself: if the numbers moved, the editor tells you, and you decide.

The mark says where the numbers came from. It is not an audit, and it is not the listing's Verified badge.

Whose connection is it?

The connection is yours. It is saved for you, in the workspace where you connected it.

  • Your teammates do not share this authorization. Each person connects their own Zoho sign-in.
  • Any member of a workspace can connect. There is no step for an owner or an admin.
  • One connection can reach every Zoho Books organisation your Zoho account belongs to. You pick one for each import.

What SellAnyBiz asks Zoho for

SellAnyBiz asks Zoho for two things.

  • Read your Profit and Loss report.

Sent to the provider as ZohoBooks.reports.READ

  • Read the details of your Zoho Books organisations: their names, currencies and financial year start.

Sent to the provider as ZohoBooks.settings.READ

Every permission is read-only: SellAnyBiz cannot create, change or delete anything in Zoho Books, and it does not ask who you are — so the card cannot name the account it reads. With them SellAnyBiz reads the Profit and Loss report and your organisations' details, and nothing else.

How we handle your data: our Privacy Policy

Good to know

  • Figures are placed by where Zoho's own report puts each line — its report sorts the accounts itself, and SellAnyBiz does not read a chart of accounts.
  • A year only gets figures when SellAnyBiz's totals agree with Zoho Books's own totals for that year.
  • The name of your company is shown to you while you review, and never to buyers.
  • To import into a listing, you must be able to edit that listing.

Individual and team use

The person selects an organization they can access. Imported figures follow listing permissions; access to another person’s Zoho authorization is not shared. The grant’s Zoho data center is retained for token renewal.

Capabilities and limits

Reads accessible organizations and Profit and Loss reports for listing financial imports.

  • Only reports.READ and settings.READ are requested. No write permission or profile/email scope is requested.
  • The API must be available for the organization’s plan and the user must be allowed to read reports. Unsupported report classifications require review before using imported figures.

Connecting, renewal, and removal

When enabled in this environment, connect from Settings → Integrations → Your integrations. Team-content integrations also appear under Workspace, but still use your own authorization. An expired or revoked grant needs Reconnect. Disconnect removes your SellAnyBiz connection; it does not transfer or delete copies already imported into a room or listing. Google/Microsoft provider consent may remain because sibling integrations share a client.
