What it does

Once Google Meet is connected, you can choose it as the meeting service when you schedule a meeting or start one straight away.

  • A link for each meetingSellAnyBiz creates the Google Meet link when the meeting is created, and shows it to everyone invited. The meeting lives in your own Google account.
  • Closed until it startsThe room of a scheduled meeting stays closed until the meeting goes live, so anyone who opens the link early waits for you. It opens at the meeting's time, or when you select Start now.
  • Ending a meetingEnding a live meeting in SellAnyBiz ends the Google Meet call for everyone in it.
  • Booking pageIf you use a booking page, you can choose Google Meet for the calls guests book.

Whose connection is it?

The connection is yours. It is saved for you, in the workspace where you connected it.

  • Your teammates do not share it. Each person who hosts meetings connects their own Google Meet.
  • Any member of a workspace can connect. There is no step for an owner or an admin.
  • A meeting uses the connection of its host, in the workspace where the meeting is created. If you host meetings in two workspaces, connect Google Meet in each.

How to connect

Last reviewed: October 5, 2026

Open Settings → Integrations
  • Sign in to SellAnyBiz and open Settings, then Integrations.
  • Find the Google Meet card and select Connect.
  • A Google window opens. Choose the Google account you want to host meetings with.
  • Read what SellAnyBiz is asking for, then approve it.
  • The window closes. The card now says Connected and shows the email address of the account you chose.
  • If no window opens, your browser blocked it. Allow pop-ups for sellanybiz.com and select Connect again.

You can also connect from the Meetings page, under Connect accounts, and while you schedule a meeting.

    What SellAnyBiz asks Google for

SellAnyBiz asks Google for two things.

    • Create Google Meet meetings, and see and change the meetings SellAnyBiz created. It does not reach meetings you made anywhere else.

Sent to the provider as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/meetings.space.created

    • See your email address, so the card can show which Google account is connected.

Sent to the provider as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email

SellAnyBiz does not ask Google for your recordings, transcripts or in-call chat.

How we handle Google data: our Privacy Policy

    Good to know

    • A guest who opened the link before the meeting started stays on the waiting screen until you let them in. Guests who arrive after the start walk straight in.
    • If you host with a personal Gmail account, a guest must be signed in to a Google account to join. That is Google's rule.
    • Google has no way to delete a Meet link. When you cancel a scheduled meeting it is cancelled in SellAnyBiz, and the unused link stays in your Google account.
    • You can move a scheduled meeting to another service, or make it an in-person meeting. It then gets a new link.

    How to disconnect

    1. Open Settings, then Integrations.
    2. Find the Google Meet card and select Disconnect.
    • Our accessSellAnyBiz deletes the access it holds for Google Meet straight away.
    • Existing meetingsLinks already created keep working. SellAnyBiz can no longer open a scheduled meeting's room when it starts, so you let your guests in yourself.
    • New meetingsYou cannot choose Google Meet for a new meeting until you connect again.
    • On Google's sideDisconnecting here does not remove SellAnyBiz from your Google Account. To do that as well, open myaccount.google.com/connections, find SellAnyBiz and remove its access. That also disconnects Google Calendar and Google Drive, in every workspace, because the three share one sign-in with Google.

    If something goes wrong

    • No Google window opensYour browser blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for sellanybiz.com, then select Connect again.
    • The card says ExpiredGoogle no longer accepts the saved sign-in. Select Reconnect on the card and approve again.
    • Guests are still waiting after the meeting startedLet them in from inside the Google Meet call. This happens to a guest who opened the link before the start, and when SellAnyBiz could not open the room.
