Google Drive

What it does

Google Drive works with data rooms and with the listing editor.

• Import into a data roomPick files in Google's own file window. SellAnyBiz copies them into the data room. They arrive in Other Documents, and the AI then files them into the right folders.
• Export from a data roomChoose files in a data room, and SellAnyBiz copies them into a new folder in your Google Drive, named after the room.
• Documents for a listingIn the listing editor, pick documents from your Google Drive for the AI to read. They are copied into the listing's data room.

Whose connection is it?

The connection is yours. It is saved for you, in the workspace where you connected it.

• Your teammates do not share this authorization. Each person connects their own Google Drive.
• Any member of a workspace can connect. There is no step for an owner or an admin.
• A transfer uses the connection of the person who starts it. Files come from, and go to, that person's own Drive.

How to connect

1. Sign in to SellAnyBiz and open Settings, then Integrations.
2. Find the Google Drive card and select Connect.
3. A Google window opens. Choose the Google account you want to use.
4. Read what SellAnyBiz is asking for, then approve it.
5. The window closes. The card now says Connected and shows the email address of the account you chose.

You can also connect from the import and export windows of a data room, and from the listing editor.

What SellAnyBiz asks Google for

SellAnyBiz asks Google for two things.

• See and manage only the files you pick in Google's file window, and the files and folders SellAnyBiz creates in your Drive. The rest of your Drive stays out of reach.

  Sent to the provider as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file

• See your email address, so the card can show which Google account is connected.

  Sent to the provider as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email

This is why you pick files in Google's own window and not in a list inside SellAnyBiz: SellAnyBiz cannot see your Drive, only what you choose there.

Good to know

• An import takes up to 50 files at a time. Each file can be up to 25 MiB.
• An export takes up to 200 files at a time.
• Every export makes a new folder. Nothing you already have is changed or overwritten.
• Files are copied, not linked. Changing a file later on one side does not change the copy on the other.
• Importing needs the right to edit the data room. Exporting needs the right to download from it, which organizers and owners have.
• Google Docs and Google Slides arrive as PDF files, and Google Sheets as Excel files. Other Google-only items, such as Forms and Drawings, cannot be imported.

How to disconnect

1. Open Settings, then Integrations.
2. Find the Google Drive card and select Disconnect.

• Our accessSellAnyBiz deletes the access it holds for your Drive straight away.
• Existing filesFiles already copied stay where they are: in the data room, and in your Drive.
• On Google's sideDisconnecting here does not remove SellAnyBiz from your Google Account. To do that as well, open myaccount.google.com/connections, find SellAnyBiz and remove its access. That also disconnects Google Calendar and Google Meet, in every workspace, because the three share one sign-in with Google.

If something goes wrong

• No Google window opensYour browser blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for sellanybiz.com, then select Connect again.
• The card says ExpiredGoogle no longer accepts the saved sign-in. Select Reconnect on the card and approve again.
• A file did not importCheck its size: 25 MB at most. Google Forms, Drawings and similar items cannot be imported.

Individual and team use

Both My Drive and Shared drives are offered in the Picker. Your own grant accesses only selected/app-created files; imported copies follow data-room access rules. Teammates do not gain access to your Drive token or entire Shared drive.

Capabilities and limits

Copies files chosen in Google Picker into a data room, and exports room files to a new Drive folder.

• Shared-drive membership and Google organization policies still control which items can be selected. Shared drives are supported, not domain-wide access.
• Native Docs and Slides export as PDF, Sheets as XLSX. Imports select files, not recursive Google folder synchronization.
• Transfers copy files; later edits and source permissions do not synchronize.
• Imports accept up to 50 files per selection and 25 MiB per file; exports accept up to 200 files. Folder expansion, supported formats, room permissions, and storage quota still apply. The separate data-room media limit does not increase this cloud-import limit.

Connecting, renewal, and removal

When enabled in this environment, connect from Settings → Integrations → Your integrations. Team-content integrations also appear under Workspace, but still use your own authorization. An expired or revoked grant needs Reconnect. Disconnect removes your SellAnyBiz connection; it does not transfer or delete copies already imported into a room or listing. Google/Microsoft provider consent may remain because sibling integrations share a client.
